Job Description Position: Senior Azure DevOps Engineer 

Location: Coventry, UK (Weekly 2-3 days at Client Office, Biweekly at Office in Staines on Thames) 

Start Date: First week of September 2024 

Number of Positions: 10 

Experience: 6-12 years 

About the Role: 

We are looking for experienced and motivated Senior Azure DevOps Engineers to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in driving our cloud infrastructure projects, ensuring seamless deployment and efficient operations. If you have a solid background in Azure and DevOps, with hands-on experience in managing complex environments, we want to hear from you. 

Key Responsibilities: 

•  Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Azure. 
•  Automate deployment, monitoring, and management processes. 
•  Collaborate with development teams to ensure continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD). 
•  Manage and configure Windows and Linux environments. 
•  Use configuration management tools like Ansible and Chocolatey. 
•  Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform. 
•  Containerize applications using Docker and manage container orchestration. 
•  Write and maintain scripts using Shell, Bash, or PowerShell. 
•  Manage SQL and MS SQL Databases. 
•  Ensure security best practices (SSL, OWASP) are implemented across all environments. 
•  Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments. 

Required Skills and Experience: 

•  6-12 years of experience in a DevOps role, with a focus on Azure. 
•  Proficiency in Linux and Windows administration. 
•  Experience with Windows configuration management tools such as Chocolatey. 
•  Expertise in Azure services and infrastructure. 
•  Strong experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code. 
•  Knowledge of Ansible for configuration management. 
•  Proficiency in containerization using Docker. 
•  Strong scripting skills in Shell, Bash, or PowerShell. 
•  Experience with SQL databases, particularly MS SQL. 
•  Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines. 
•  Understanding of .NET applications and their deployment. 
•  Familiarity with Data Bricks is a plus. 
•  Solid understanding of cloud security principles and practices, including SSL and OWASP. 

Desirable Skills: 

•  Experience with Data Bricks. 
•  Knowledge of additional cloud platforms and services. 
•  Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., Azure, Terraform).
