Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Golang Developer to join our fast-paced development team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in backend engineering, with proven experience in building scalable, secure, and high-performance systems using Golang. You will be instrumental in designing and implementing robust APIs and microservices that drive mission-critical enterprise applications. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate across engineering, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable backend components using Golang
• Build and manage RESTful APIs and microservices for scalable, distributed systems
• Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and QA teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery
• Write clean, maintainable, and secure code adhering to industry best practices
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure optimal system behaviour
• Participate in peer code reviews and enforce coding standards across the team
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical documentation

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–6+ years of hands-on experience in Golang development
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design
• Proficiency in working with relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Solid grasp of version control systems (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket)
• Basic knowledge of front-end integration and web security best practices
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in cloud-native development (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
• Knowledge of GraphQL or gRPC is a plus
• Contributions to open-source Golang projects or active GitHub profile
